TRY YOGA
Yoga is a spiritual practice that blends a series of postures (asanas) with breathing and meditation. This helps to evoke a sense of calm, peace and stillness within, as well as creating balance in the body, and improving both mental and physical strength. The word “yoga” is rooted in the Sanskrit yui, meaning “to unite”, and you will likely experience a sense of harmony between your mind, body and soul as you begin your yoga journey. While you have the option of practising it in the comfort of your own home, if you’re new to yoga it’s a good idea to seek out a class led by a fully qualified instructor, who will be able to gently guide you through the poses.
